Provided DB2 DBA production support to a number of projects in a mainframe data sharing environment, many of which used IBM Websphere and DB2 Connect. Use was made of BMC products to manage the migration of any database changes.

Thomson NETg
As a DB2 UDB subject matter expert was responsible for the technical accuracy of DB2 UDB version 8 training scripts and HTML pages. These were mainly produced offshore and have been incorporated into four DB2 UDB version 8 training courses.

Halifax - HBOS
Provided DB2 DBA support to a large number of DB2 projects in development both on the IBM mainframe platform and Windows NT. Use was made of the BMC third party product set to manage the database changes as required.

Workthing
Provided DB2 UDB DBA support to an internet start up venture owned by the Guardian Media Group. This project was based on the Solaris UNIX platform and was coded in JAVA.

Great Universal Stores
Provided the sole DB2 DBA support to a development project including the database design, performance testing and implementation support. This was based on the IBM mainframe platform and the project was coded in COBOL.

Provided DB2 DBA production and development support to all the National Power DB2 projects including on-call. This included support for the Walker upgrade and year 2K planning.
